The Wagespeed software was developed for our accountancy practice.  We noticed that clients would buy commercial software to prepare their payroll but would often encounter difficulties using that software and then stop and revert to manual preparation of wages.

We gradually introduced the Wagespeed software to clients who were delighted with it and would not dream  of going back to manual preparation of their payroll and the PAYE and NIC calculations.

The Wagespeed programme, using Microsoft Excel 97 onwards, is based on the Inland Revenue’s form P.11 with the gross pay being entered on this form.  The software then takes over and makes all the calculations for net pay doing away with the need for using paper PAYE, National Insurance and Student Loan tables. The programme takes 6mb of hard disc space.
